Artists’ studios open across France for JNA 2026

Presented under the title “An artist near you,” the event brings together very direct ways of encountering art: working studios, exhibitions and conversations with artists. It shifts attention toward the making of work, not only the finished piece.

For painters and drawing enthusiasts, the appeal lies in seeing how an image takes shape. A studio visit can reveal the pace of a hand, the choice of a surface or format, and the revisions that turn an idea into a picture.
